Fierce Brewing

A busy August in the northwest

After being in the big smoke for LONDON CRAFT BEER FEST we’ll be heading to the sleepy town of Bakewell for the not so sleepy Peakender organised by our friend’s at Thornbridge running from Friday 16th to the Sunday 18th of August. This is a great festival aimed at the family with entertainment for all. Various bands will be playing, circus workshops, gin tastings, bed time stories and much more. There will be various beer tastings by some great breweries and one of which will be run by our very own Dave McHardy sharing the story of Fierce beer and pouring some beers for you to try. We will also have our collaboration beer on tap that we brewed recently with Thornbridge, a 7% East India Porter with Columbus hops, this will be alongside some your Fierce beer favourites too.

On the 24th of August we’re going to be helping The Font in Chorlton celebrate the bank holiday weekend on the Chorlton beer mile with a full tap take over. The guys at The Font have put together a great list of beers for you to try, from our hoppy IPA’s, a couple fruity sours to one of our cask beers and our Fierce raspberry gin and tonic. Treat yourself, get down there to enjoy a fun filled weekend amongst family and friends, they'll be DJ's, BBQ and beer for all.

Next up we’ll be at Beatnikz Republic northern quarter bar for craft beer bingo on the 28th of August.  Hosted by none other than the 5000 yr old Wizard king, they’ll be beers, laughs and prizes on offer so make sure you’re there early to grab a good seat, see what beers we’re bringing and get ready for a great evening.

On the 29th of August we’ll be at one of the best bars Leeds has to offer, yep we’re at North bar to show off our Fierce By Nature beers. We’re very excited about our mixed fermentation project and have invested a lot of time and effort into this beer. When we told Cal at North Bar that we had these beers coming he didn’t hesitate and knew he had to put them on the bar. As well as pouring these the team at north bar will be mixing up some cocktails using the Fierce sprits gins so we’re all in for a treat.

Last but -by- no means least, we’re going to be rounding off a busy month on the 30th of August with the good folk at Brewdog Manchester by doing a joint tap take over with Brewyork. BD gave us 4 lines each to pit against each other and you get to vote for your winners. So you can expect some tasty beers, many laughs and maybe tears from the loser.
